Competition Details
For
the 2010 event there are 128 places available, and bowlers will play
in groups of 16 over eight qualifying nights. There will be 2
qualifiers each night, making up a finals night of 16.
To
qualify for the finals on Saturday 2nd October 2010 players must
win 3 games which will guarantee a minimum cash prize of £100.
By winning 2 games, players will receive a guaranteed prize of £50.
No
home bowlers are allowed in the competition and all games are 21up
off scratch.
The
total prize fund break down is:-

Highest
Break Prize
On
each of the qualifying nights there will be a highest break prize of
£20 and on the finals night the highest break prize will be £50

In
the qualifying rounds, practice will be allowed from 5.30pm, with a
starting time of 6.00pm.
The
Finals will be held on Saturday 2nd October 2010, with practice allowed
from 5.00pm and a starting time of 5.30pm.
Hot
and cold food refreshments be available on all qualifying nights and the
finals, together with fully licensed bar facilities.
